OAKLAND –- The Oakland A’s announced Monday that right-handed pitcher Cody Martin was claimed off waivers by Seattle and switch-pitcher Pat Venditte was claimed by Toronto. In addition, the A’s released outfielder Jason Pridie to allow him to play in Japan and outrighted catcher Bryan Anderson to Triple-A Nashville.
Martin made his Major League debut in 2015 and combined for a 2-5 record and a 7.92 ERA in 25 games, including two starts, with Atlanta and Oakland.
