Trevor Cahill, back in the A’s clubhouse Sunday for the first time in seven years, was pretty nonchalant about returning to his first big-league home.
“Looks pretty much the same,” said the starter, who signed a one-year, $1.5 million deal with the team during spring training. “I know where stuff is.”
Cahill is expected to work three innings Tuesday at AT&T Park, then he’ll probably go to the minors to get in one start in Arizona — Triple-A Nashville and Class A Stockton begin their seasons April 5, and he’s likely to make at least one start with one of them before becoming an option for Oakland.
