A's minor leaguer not happy with Tebow getting signed

Despite not playing organized baseball in 12 years, Tim Tebow signed a minor league deal with the Mets on Thursday.

And while former A's slugger Jose Canseco wants to help Tebow, one Oakland minor leaguer isn't thrilled with Tebow getting signed.

"The fact Tebow got 100,000 to sign let alone him even getting signed is a joke," Double-A Midland pitcher Corey Walter wrote on Twitter on Thursday.

Tebow held a showcase for MLB teams on August 30 in Los Angeles. After the Mets made the deal with Tebow official on Thursday, they announced the former Heisman Trophy winner would report to the Instructional League in Port St.
