A’s lose their top slugger for at least 10 days

The A’s will be without their biggest power source for awhile after placing designated hitter Khris Davis on the 10-day disabled list Wednesday.

After losing the man with the most home runs in the major leagues the past three years, the A’s added top prospect Franklin Barreto, who was recalled from Triple-A Nashville.
