TORONTO -- While the A's offense powered up, Oakland starter Eric Surkamp couldn't take the steam out of the Blue Jays on Sunday as Toronto scored a 6-3 win.
The A's second loss after six consecutive wins came despite homers by Khris Davis, Josh Reddick and Chris Coghlan, each of them coming with no one on base. Oakland has snapped out of a power drought with eight home runs in the last four games.Only two of the four games have been wins with the A's starting pitching taking a beating at the hands of the Blue Jays. Surkamp made it through 4 2/3 innings, giving up nine hits and six runs.
