A’s lose again, fall to Diamondbacks 5-2

The A’s lost again on Wednesday afternoon, losing to the Arizona Diamondbacks 5-2 in front of the home crowd.

Right-hander Osvaldo Bido got the ball to start today’s game. It’s been a tough spring for him so far so he needed a quality outing today. He gave that to them and then some, pitching five innings while allowing just a pair of runs. Bido is still in contention for that fifth starter’s role as of now and he certainly helped his case today.

The offense meanwhile managed just two runs today. One of those runs came off the bat of infielder CJ Alexander, who crushed his first home run of the spring in the third inning.
