HOUSTON - Khris Davis has hit the most home runs in the majors over the past two years, with 61 entering Wednesday. He wants no part of the Home Run Derby, though.
Asked Wednesday if he’d like to participate in the event during All-Star Week in Miami next month, Davis told The Chronicle, “They haven’t talked to me, but I’m not interested.”
Davis, who has 19 homers, said the Derby just isn’t for him.
“I don’t think it will make me a happier person,” he said. “I’m OK. I’ve already decided no, if they ask me.
