A's pitcher Jarrod Parker had surgery Friday on his fractured right elbow that was deemed successful, the team announced.
Dr. Neal ElAttrache, who performed the operaton, reconstructed the flexor tendon and ulnar collateral ligament. It was the fourth major surgery for Parker since he injured his elbow during spring training in 2014.Parker fractured his elbow last month during a bullpen session at the A's spring training complex in Mesa.
