A's hit three homers in Mother's Day loss

ARLINGTON -- The Rangers mounted a late-inning comeback for the fourth consecutive game, clinching a three-game sweep of the A's with an 6-4 victory Sunday.

Oakland scored all four runs off homers off Rangers starter A.J. Griffin. Trevor Plouffe and Adam Rosales hit solo shots and Matt Joyce blasted a two-run homer to center.

The A's and starter Kendall Graveman carried a 4-2 margin into the seventh. But Carlos Gomez led off the inning with a single and scored when Delino DeShields hustled to beat out an infield single.
