SEATTLE — The momentum from a winning April didn’t immediately carry over into May for the A’s, who fell to the Mariners 6-3 Tuesday night.
Nonetheless, the next two games of the series will provide some extra intrigue because Brett Anderson, Wednesday’s starter, is back in an A’s uniform and Sean Manaea, Thursday’s starter, has become must-see TV.
Anderson will make his first appearance for the A’s since Sept. 28, 2013, and his first start for them since April 24 of that year.
“It’s a little surreal to be back with the A’s for a second go-round.
