Since spring training was cancelled on March 12 and the MLB season postponed, A’s closer Liam Hendriks and his wife, Kristi, have been sheltering in place at their home in Arizona. Just the two of them, three dogs — including one foster dog with a broken leg — and two cats.
Through these strange times, the Hendriks family has found some normalcy. To keep up some baseball activity, Hendriks uses a “Dura Sock” — a weighted glove — to simulate his throwing motion in his hallway.
