Back home after another rotten road trip, the A’s repeatedly rebutted Yankees rallies Thursday night, coming back to win in the 10th on Khris Davis’ two-out, bases-loaded flare that deflected off the glove of second baseman Starlin Castros in short center field.
Davis’ dink sent in two runs to give Oakland an 8-7 victory, snapping a losing streak at three games. Rajai Davis got the rally going with a two-out single and Chad Pinder added a double before Jed Lowrie was walked intentionally, bringing up Khris Davis, who had been 0-for-4 two strikeouts.
