Most of the A’s medical news when the team’s pitchers and catchers reported Tuesday was positive - and none better than the clean bill of health for Andrew Lambo.
Lambo had surgery for testicular cancer last year and missed most of the season, but the scan he got in mid-December showed no recurrence and a slightly enlarged lymph node had not grown in size and was deemed just an anomaly. Lambo’s oncologist at USC, Dr. Leslie Ballas, gave him the good news.
“She smiled and said, ‘Get out of here, go do your thing, you’re good,’ ” Lambo said Tuesday.
