The A’s play host to the Tampa Bay Rays on Wednesday in the American League Wild Card Game. It’s a one-and-done affair, starting at 5 p.m. and broadcast on ESPN, with the winner going on to face the Houston Astros.
Oakland completed is second straight 97-win regular season to return to the Wild Card Game and is making its 10th playoff appearance since 2000.
