Walt Weiss was in full uniform Monday night at the Coliseum for the first time since 1997, when he was the Rockies’ shortstop.
Now he’s the Rockies’ manager.
“It hasn’t changed a whole lot,” Weiss said of the Coliseum, which erected Mt. Davis a couple of years before his previous visit with the Rockies.
Weiss stopped by twice more in 2009 for the 20-year reunion of the championship team and 2010 to present Andrew Bailey the Rookie of the Year Award, which Weiss had won with the A’s in 1988.
