The final home series of the Oakland A’s has already seen two fans try to remove seats from the Coliseum.
Just after Tuesday’s game against the Texas Rangers ended in a walk-off win for the A’s, a four-second video circulated on X showing two fans in A’s gear lifting two seats from the Coliseum above their heads.
The fans get a quick little cheer in the short video, though it isn’t clear whether that’s for their destructive act or it’s celebrating the walk-off behind them. It also isn’t clear in the video what happened after, but according to the San Francisco Chronicle’s Susan Slusser, the A’s confirmed the video is real.
