Watch: Notre Dame’s Dexter Williams Is Alive, Is Catching TDs Now

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish have extended their lead over the Michigan State Spartans to 21-7, thanks to a lovely effort by junior running back Dexter Williams.

Williams has made the most of his limited on-field time this year. He continued to make it hard for offensive coordinator Chip Long to keep him off the field in the second quarter tonight.

The junior ripped off runs of nine, one and four yards and then caught a eight-yard touchdown pass from Brandon Wimbush. The Irish started with a short field after linebacker Greer Martini stripped Spartans quarterback Brian Lewerke at the Spartans’ 24-yard line.
