Notre Dame went on the road and beat Louisville 35-17, but I don’t think anyone came away overly happy about the performance as a whole. Another writer and I here at Slap the Sign even predicted the score correctly, but we would both say we didn’t expect it to look the way it did in the process.
As for a player that really stepped up for the majority of the game, I have to go with running back Tony Jones Jr. To be honest, I would consider him more of a “hero” than an “unsung hero,” but my thoughts were pretty straight forward this week.
