The New York Giants are making key offseason moves to rebuild their team, and one of their latest additions is former Notre Dame All-American Jeff Burris, who has been hired as their new assistant secondary/cornerbacks coach.
Burris, a standout for the Fighting Irish in the early 1990s, was a dynamic two-way player under head coach Lou Holtz. Primarily a defensive back, he also contributed on offense in short-yardage goal-line situations. His stellar play earned him All-American honors before he was selected in the first round of the 1994 NFL Draft by the Buffalo Bills.
