This Guy Plays Notre Dame Football: #75 Josh Lugg

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish have a roster full of players, and we want to talk about all of them. One Foot Down’s player profile series will take a look at every single one of them, and hopefully we all learn a little bit more about these guys, and Notre Dame’s chances for the upcoming 2018 season.

Josh Lugg is a 6’7”, 308-pound, sophomore offensive lineman from Pennsylvania currently slated to be potentially the first man in at the guard position this season.

Thanks to his length and height, Lugg ultimately projects to end up at tackle, but due to the emergence of Robert Hainsey and Liam Eichenberg as the current choices at the tackle spots, Lugg’s talent has forced the coaching staff to cross-train him at guard, where he could very well see the field sooner rather than later, especially with Alex Bars set to graduate after this season.
