Greer Martini #45, a senior linebacker from Cary, NC, is the next player on our Notre Dame Fighting Irish player profile series. As a senior, Greer has seen a lot of playing time at linebacker considering the injuries that have occurred and also how he seemed to fit into Brian VanGorder’s defensive scheme. One of the great things about Greer is that his ability and versatility has translated to the new system that Mike Elko has began. Greer should be able to come alive and hopefully expand his skill set as this new BUCK Linebacker.
