No. 8 men's soccer (8-3-5, 3-2-2) earned a draw and a loss this past week. Against Northwestern, they took a 1-1 tie on the road. They had an amazing 39-7 shot advantage, but the ball just did not find the back of the net for the Irish. Jon Gallagher scored for the Irish 7 and a half minutes in; the Wildcats scored early in the 2nd half, and neither side could end the deadlock in regulation or double overtime.
