The NCAA today denied Notre Dame’s appeal to keep 21 wins from its 2012 & 2013 football seasons, upholding its ruling last November than those victories must be vacated as a penalty for academic impropiety.
This case was about the infamous "Frozen Four" and academic misconduct that involved a tutor and four (duh) Notre Dame Fighting Irish football players. Notre Dame took sweeping actions in this case against itself with suspensions and a full-on investigation.
It also self-reported itself to the NCAA, and this is where life shows everyone that doing the right thing in a corrupt system is probably not a good idea.
