The Notre Dame internet was buzzing all about thanks to an Instagram post by shoe and apparel partner, Under Armour.
The black shamrocks in the background gave way to a lot of speculation that the Irish might wear black jerseys for its upcoming college football playoff game against the Indiana Hoosiers. While I completely doubt “black” will be the color of choice for Notre Dame’s jersey next Friday night, I do think there is a very strong chance that Notre Dame wears some type of alternate uniform.
But should they? Should Notre Dame wear one of its growing number of uniform combos other than the normal blue jersey and gold pants?
