In a recent SB Nation Reacts survey, fans from all over the country were given a chance to give Notre Dame a chance in the National Championship against the Ohio State Buckeyes. While 61% would bet that the Irish at least cover with +8.5 points, only 35% of those surveyed think the Irish will win.

Those sound like pretty big odds that are stacked against the Irish. If Notre Dame wins it all with a 15-1 record... you really should put this team up at the top of the best team to ever play in South Bend, but 21% don’t think it’s good enough for that title.
