Notre Dame fans are waking up to some unfortunate news Saturday morning. Fighting Irish senior defensive tackle Jarron Jones is “likely” out for the season after suffering a major knee injury during practice this week. According to JJ Stankevitz of CSN Chicago, Jones has several tears in his knee and will need surgery. Jones was a starter for the team last season before suffering a Lisfranc injury in November.
