The Notre Dame Fighting Irish took care of business on Saturday night with a 31-16 victory over the USC Trojans.
The Irish were very business like on their first drive of the night coming off of the bye week. Notre Dame drove 74 yards with relative ease, but stalled out in the redzone after Kevin Austin dropped a 3rd down pass. Jonathan Doerer missed the 36 yard field goal, and that feeling of a “long night”
But that feeling was unwarranted — for a few moments.
Notre Dame leaned on a passing game that hit the edge, and Kyren Williams rushing for over 100 yards to give the offense its most complete performance of the season.
