The Fighting Irish are set to take on Texas Saturday night to kick off their season, and the field at Notre Dame Stadium is likely lined and ready for play, But if not, we know where they can find a replica pretty quickly. ND fan Bruce Straughan, who is starting to make this an annual project, has recreated the venue’s field on his front lawn – goal posts and all. This year, unlike last year, he even colored it differently to reflect the move to artificial turf, which the program did ahead of the 2014 campaign.
