The Notre Dame Fighting Irish got into big fight with rival Southern Cal inside Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on Saturday, and finally finished the Trojans with a couple of knockout blows in the fourth quarter for a 49-35 win.
In a rivalry game we’re told to throw out the records, and this game wasn’t any different. The Irish had to fight for everything. The perseverence paid off when we saw Christian Gray put the game basically out of reach with a 99 yard interception return for touchdown — and Xavier Watts sealed the game with a 100 yard interception return of his own.
