We learned over the weekend that freshman offensive lineman Parker Boudreaux was admitted to the hospital with a case of meningitis. For those of you who don’t know what meningitis is, its a sickness that causes inflammation of the meninges, which are located in the brain and spinal cord. This can causes severe headaches and intense fevers. If caught bacterially the disease can be fatal, but luckily for Boudreaux he caught it virally.

Boudreaux was released from the hospital late Tuesday night and returned to campus. He is one of three freshman offensive linemen that looks to battle for playing time in fall camp.
