The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are 10-1, ranked #6 in the country, and are probably just one win away from locking in a home playoff game in December. Standing in Notre Dame’s way is the last obstacle of the regular season — Southern Cal.
How fitting it is, once again, that the Irish have another opportunity to dance on its biggest rival’s home field on its way toward a postseason that could result in a national championship. The Irish did it in most recently in 2012 and 2018. Both of those games were against subpar Trojan teams, but they were still dogfights.
