The NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament selection show will air tonight on ESPN at 7 p.m. ET. The Notre Dame women’s basketball team is close to a lock to secure its second-consecutive No. 1 seed in the tournament.
If everything goes according to what most bracketologists are saying, the top four seeds will be Baylor, UConn, Notre Dame and Mississippi State. There is an outside shot that Louisville replaces Mississippi State as a 1-seed.
The Irish will be in the Chicago regional and play their first two games in South Bend.
As of Yesterday, ESPN bracketologist Charlie Creme has the Irish taking on Bethune-Cookman in the first round with a potential matchup with Michigan in the second round.
