Yesterday, Jordan Nixon, of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish women’s basketball team, announced that she was entering the transfer portal. Additionally, she mentioned in an Instagram post that she is absolutely leaving the team. Jordan Nixon was a freshman that did not see much game action this year. She only mainly played in a road game against UNC when Jackie Young was injured for that game.
With a starting 5 all getting drafted in the WNBA Draft back in April, it was tough for deeper bench players to receive some minutes. Now, there have been some transfers to the program, and Anaya Peoples comes in for her freshman year as a point guard.
