The Notre Dame women’s basketball team advanced to the Elite Eight of the 2018 NCAA Tournament on Saturday. The 90-84 win over Texas A&M was the 32nd of the season for head coach Muffet McGraw and the Irish.
The win also put the Irish over the 32-win mark for the seventh consecutive season. It will also be the ninth overall appearance in the Elite Eight during Muffet McGraw’s tenure in South Bend.
Marina Mabrey led the way for Notre Dame with 25 points and 9 assists. Arike Oginbowale contributed 25 points and 6 rebounds of her own.
