The game was never really in doubt, and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish finished off the Wake Forest Demon Deacons by a final score of 48-37. The defense played to contain the Wake Forest offense in the second half. By taking their edge off, the defense allowed over 20 points for the first time this season.
