Three weeks ago this game was thought to be nothing more than an easy win for #1 ranked Villanova. But nine games later, the Fighting Irish are cruising their way through the season.
Notre Dame’s biggest advantage in this game is Bonzie Colson. The dynamic forward has dominated the boards all year. Villanova’s weakness in down low, and against Colson it will be exposed.
In the backcourt, Matt Farrell and V.J. Beachem will do their best to slow down Josh Hart and Kris Jenkins. With the abundance of guards they have on the roster, the Irish should be able to slow the Wildcats backcourt at least.
