Did we really expect anything else other than the result we got Saturday? Notre Dame dominated UMass after a bit of a slow start to win 62 to 27. The offense seemed a bit inconsistent and off sync in the first quarter, but Irish head coach Brian Kelly made sure that his team played up to their standards rather than playing down to the competition. Notre Dame (4-0) went on a run and scored 41 unanswered points to put the Minutemen (0-3) away.
As a whole, this offense did exactly what it needed to do to walk away with the convincing win behind DeShone Kizer’s second start.
