Notre Dame Too Much For Pitt

Heinz Field played host the 70th match-up between the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Pitt Panthers. Pitt at 6-2 is off to its best start since 2009, while the Irish are 7-1 and ranked just outside (8th) in the College Playoff rankings.

The Irish were simply too much for the Panthers to handle and won convincingly 42-30.

Notre Dame struck immediately, when sophomore quarterback DeShone Kizer hit receiver Will Fuller for a 47-yard touchdown pass with 13:49 remaining in the first quarter. The junior receiver from Philadelphia, PA finished the game with seven catches for 152 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
