Notre Dame RB C.J. Prosise left Saturday’s game against Pitt with concussion symptoms and a shoulder injury, and is now undergoing the proper concussion protocols. Head coach Brian Kelly is optimistic Prosise, Notre Dame’s top running back, will not miss much time.
According to CSN Chicago, Kelly said he is hopeful Prosise can return to practice at some point this week. Freshman back Josh Adams filled in for Prosise quite adequately, rushing for 147 yards in the win over Pitt.
