Notre Dame fans can exhale a little bit. Markus Burton suffered a knee injury early in the Irish loss to the Rutgers Scarlet Knights on Tuesday, and many wondered out loud if he might be done for the season. On Wednesday, we got some clarification that Burton won’t be out for the entire season — but the statement was perhaps a little more open-ended as far as a return date goes.

LAS VEGAS - On Tuesday, November 26, in the Players Era Tournament game against Rutgers, All-ACC guard Markus Burton suffered a non-season-ending knee injury that will hold him out of competition on a week-to-week basis.
