The Notre Dame Fighting Irish lost to the West Virginia Mountaineers 83-71 in the second round of the NCAA tournament. The Irish couldn’t break through as the Mountaineers had a steady lead all game after jumping off to a 10-0 to start the game. The closest the Irish would get is down to three points. They never got over the hump and WVU eventually pulled away late. This is what we learned.
Irish Haven’t Seen Pressure Like That
There really is not another team in the country that pressures the ball like West Virginia.
