The Notre Dame Fighting Irish Hockey team was back in action Saturday night for the back end of their home-and-home series with the Bowling Green Falcons. Notre Dame managed to take the lead early, but just like Friday night the Bowling Green offense overwhelmed the Irish and the Falcons came away with the 5-2 win.
First Period
Notre Dame managed the first goal of the game, a power play goal just over a minute in. After cycling the puck for a bit, Nick Leivermann took a shot from the top of the zone that was deflected on goal by Cam Morrison.
