The Notre Dame Fighting Irish hockey team lost their third straight game on Friday night, falling 1-0 to the Ohio State Buckeyes. The Buckeyes jumped out to the lead early, scoring on their first power play opportunity 8:59 into the first period. The Irish turned up the pressure in the second period, outshooting the Buckeyes 12-10, and continued the pressure in the third, holding an 8-2 advantage in shots, but it wasn’t enough as they couldn’t get one into the net.
