For the Notre Dame Fighting Irish hockey team, the 2017-2018 season will be the start of a whole new direction. The Irish have joined the Big 10 in hockey.
Notre Dame released the schedule for next season today, and it looks quite a bit different than the schedules from previous years.

The Irish will have a home and home series with the other 6 program in the Big 10, with the most intriguing being the series with the Minnesota Golden Gophers and Michigan Wolverines.
