The Notre Dame Fighting Irish closed out their time in Northern Ireland with a 4-3 loss to the Boston University Terriers. Notre Dame finished in second place in the Friendship Four tournament.

First Period
The Terriers wasted no time getting after it on offense and fired away at the Irish net. Seconds after recording the sole penalty of the opening period with a cross-checking call for Brehdan Engum, the shorthanded terriers got on the board with a goal from Kamil Bednarik. After some back and forth, Notre Dame’s Hunter Strand responded with his team’s first goal of the night.
