Notre Dame Football: Wide receiver Lawrence Keys to sit out remainder of the year

According to multiple reports, Notre Dame Fighting Irish senior wide receiver, Lawrence Keys will sit out the remainder of the 2021 college football season.

Keys was expected to play a big role this season, and had a very strong offseason in the spring and in fall camp. He had been listed as the backup slot receiver behind Avery Davis, and the backup punt return behind Matt Salerno (a position in which Kyren Williams played the entire game against Florida State) but he really didn’t see much action on Sunday.

Keys will graduate this December and will have two years of eligibility remaining.
