According to a report on Irish Illustrated, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish are going to be without wide receiver Kevin Austin for the 2019 season.
Notre Dame was already “quietly” sitting Austin for the first four games of the season as they have done with Kevin Stepherson and Dexter Williams in the past. Both of those past cases unofficially had to do with a failed drug test, although that has never been verified by Brian Kelly or the University for privacy reasons.
Whatever the reason, Austin remains enrolled at Notre Dame for the fall semester.
