The Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Navy Midshipmen will kick off under mostly clear skies and amid temperatures hovering around 70 degrees, according to the latest Accuweather forecast.
The winds will be a slight notch above calm and there will be no chance of rain, according to forecasters. Visibility will be clear.
The temperature is expected to dip less than five degrees between the 8 p.m. kickoff and the final whistle.
It’ll be a beautiful day for a tailgate. The lot at the San Diego County Credit Union Stadium opens at noon, at which point it’s expected to be 78 degrees Fahrenheit with a light breeze and no rain.
