The Notre Dame football offensive attack figures to be a strength of the team in 2019. The Irish return eight starters on offense and a handful of other players that were contributors last season.
Ian Book returns to lead an offense that ranked 32nd in total yards per game and 37th in pass yards per game in 2018. In his arsenal, he will have six of the team’s top eight leaders in receiving yards back from last season.
It will also be Book’s third season with offensive coordinator Chip Long. That might not sound like a big deal, but that continuity is hard to find at major college football programs.
