Te’von Coney will be on trial in Fulton County, Indiana, two years after being arrested there for a marijuana possession charge.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish linebacker will appear in court May 31 for a pretrial conference, with a bench trial to follow on Aug. 1, according to a News-Sentinel report.

The newspaper said the court ordered Coney to take a drug test at probation last October, then subsequently rejected a plea agreement in December. Coney was back in court for a “change of plea hearing” two months ago. But, on April 30, Coney asked to withdraw from the agreement “based on the results of the testing in April of 2018,” according to a court filing.
